The Towering Giraffe
The giraffe, a towering marvel of the African savanna, inspires awe wherever its stories are told. Its long neck and graceful demeanor make it a symbol of vision and perspective in many cultures. Explorers’ tales of giraffes reached Amazonian tribes, where they became mythical beings said to reach the heavens and bring messages from the gods.
Although the Amazon has no giraffes, its towering kapok trees and canopy giants fulfill a similar symbolic role, representing strength, longevity, and a connection between earth and sky.
